70 Christians Beheaded in Church Massacre in the Democratic Republic of Congo

Kasanga, DRC – Seventy Christians were found beheaded inside a Protestant church in Kasanga, Democratic Republic of Congo, in what authorities suspect was an attack by the Islamist militant group Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), an affiliate of ISIS.

Military administrator Alain Kiwewa confirmed an investigation is underway as the DRC grapples with escalating violence. The Kenyan government is considering evacuations amid growing instability, while UN Secretary-General António Guterres warned of the broader regional impact.
